What is Penwork Studio?

Penwork Studio is a songwriting and lyric studio for writing, organizing, and refining songs — with BPM, key, scale, and syllable counts attached to each one.

How do I create a new song?

Tap the compose / + button on your catalog screen to start a new song, then give it a title and start writing.

What do BPM, Key, Scale, and the syllable counter do?

They let you tag a song with its tempo, musical key, and scale, and the syllable counter shows the length of your lines so you can keep a consistent flow.

Can I organize and search my songs?

Yes — use Folders, sort by BPM or creation date, and search across your whole catalog from the home screen.

Where are my songs stored?

Your songs are saved on your device. We recommend keeping your device backed up so your catalog is protected.

We respect your privacy. Penwork Studio does not sell your personal information. Your songs are stored on your own device, and you stay in control of your work.

AI features are bring-your-own-key: they run on an API key you add, and requests go from your device straight to that provider — never through us, never your whole catalog, never in the background.
